# Limit Login Attempts Settings
To protect your web site from too many unsuccessful login attempts enable imit login attempts option.
**Maximum number of attempts :** For limited login attempts, please enter a number. For example: 5. User who makes more than 5 attempts will be blocked for a while.
**Lockout duration (as seconds) :** Please insert duration as seconds. The locked user must wait for this period.
